"A website is more than plain information - it represents a brand and an identity," Skundberg explains. "It can help develop ones network and services, at the same time as it increases page views and sales.

Would you rather greet new clients in an elegant space in downtown Oslo, or in a an old building outside the city border? Showcasing one's image, location and brand online is just as important as it is anywhere else, but for many businesses harder to accomplish. "Designing a website is so much more than developing a technical product," Skundberg explains. The web offers an unlimited pool of opportunities for business, but it also requires that the clients have an open mind.
Devant's goal was to offer everything from text to code, without compromising either service or quality. The company has now become a one-stop-shop for any size company that is looking to expand their presence online. "But we quickly realized that to offer a full team of experts and 24/7 support services, all of us couldn't have 9-5 jobs and an office downtown," Skundberg says. The cost of building up a team in Oslo with everything from graphic designers to computer engineers was simply too high. "We had to think different."
The answer was to open up an office in India that takes care of web development, maintenance and updates, while the office in Oslo focuses on design, brand management and content. The result is a higher level of quality for a lower price.

As a client, you want to combine quality and experience with innovative and international solutions. "Our clients understand the relationship between text and technology, brand management and sales," Skundberg says. "The are demanding players in their field, whose web presence is critical."
As a direct result of having an action center in India , Devant's clients have access to services and support that wouldn't have been possible to offer on this side of the globe. At the same time they get to work with some of Norway's most prominent web designers. "It is easier to do deliver great results to the people who value and know how to optimize their use of our concept," Skundberg concludes. The most important question is left to the clients: "What do you want to achieve?"
